It doesn't matter if you know your way around the kitchen, can't tell a saucepan from a frying pan, or just want a fun night out - we have a class for you!

Each class is taught by one of our professional, local chefs in our cooking space - the Marketplace. Classes are small, with only 20 students or less, and feature either hands-on instruction  or demostration style (please see below) with tips and tricks from the professional kitchen. After the class, the students  sit down to enjoy the evening's creations.

*Please let us know if you have any allergies, classes are not reccomended for a vegetarian diet unless otherwise stated. This is not a nut-free environment.*

Cost: $49*, includes a recipe and food prepared during class.

Please Note: All cooking classes may be two or two and a half hours depending on circumstances.  Extended length may be due to food preparation time.

Discover a cuisine that is a product of uniquely blended influences from so many cultures all across the globe. Cajun and creole cooking takes influences from French, Spanish, African and Mexican dishes. Authentic Cajun and creole cooking can be found in Louisiana, but if a trip down south isn't in your future come try out some authentic dishes made by Chef Derek. 

Farmers' Market Finds: Local and Fresh for the Summer - June 21, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Register Activity #11785

Light and easy cooking for the summer using fresh ingredients from your local market. Menu: grilled corn salsa, blackened chicken tacos, garlic shrimp skewers and a mason jar 'Kitchener Market cocktail' using fresh market fruits from local farmers. 

Taste of Italy - June 28, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Register Activity #11771

Learn how to cook the essential comfort foods - rich pasta sauce, breads, flavors of garlic and herbs. If you haven't been blessed with your own Italian grandmother to swipe recipes from, we suggest you look a little closer to home! Our chefs will guide you in learning how to make delicious Italian-influenced recipes that will be a perfect go-to for a big family dinner.
