Harvestfest – September 15 to October 13, 2018

Join us for a celebration of all things autumn at the Kitchener Market!

Saturday, Sept. 15 from 10 a.m. to noon - we will be hosting local chefs with demonstrations on how to cook some of the delicious Ontario fall produce you see at the market.
This is a free, family event. Registration not required.

Wednesday, Sept. 19 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. - Meals Without Madness Part 1
FEE $25
September is the time when most of us are returning to the normal routines and the busyness of activities. We are racing from work to home to evening commitments with barely enough time to eat a meal much less cook one. In this two-part series instructor and chef Nicole Puffer will show you how to simplify meal planning, prep and cooking to get you in and out the door in record time without sacrificing nutrition. No drive-thru lines needed! Let me show you how to take the “MADNESS” out of your meals this fall.
Your meal is provided for this event. This event is licensed so that you may bring along your favourite wine or beer.

Saturday, Sept. 22 from 10 a.m. to noon - the piazza comes alive with fall fair fun! Corn shucking, apple bobbing, crafts for kids and more.
This is a free, family event. Registration not required.

Wednesday, Sept. 26 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. - Meals Without Madness Part 2
(Part 1 is not a pre-requisite)
FEE $25

Thursday, Sept. 27 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. - Sip & Soil Autumn Themed Planter
hosted by 'Yearn to Urn'
FEE $55

Sip & Soil is back by popular demand! Join Yearn to Urn and Buzz Tour Co. for an evening of wine, seasonal planting and fun!
Just in time for Thanksgiving, join us on Thursday, Sept. 27 as Yearn to Urn walks you through designing a 10-12” autumn themed planter. Pumpkins, ornamental cabbages, mums and more come together for a wonderfully festive fall planter. Learn the fundamentals of creating and shaping your planter as well as the designing concepts to personalize it too. By the end of the class you will take home a beautiful hand-made fall planter that is as contemporary or traditional as you are.
Enjoy tasting wines while you pot! Buzz Tour Co.’s drink diva, Christine, will have you exploring wines from the up-and-coming wine region of Norfolk County!
