It doesn't matter if you know your way around the kitchen, can't tell a saucepan from a frying pan, or just want a fun night out - we have a class for you!

Each class is taught by one of our professional, local chefs in our cooking space - the Marketplace. Classes are small, with only 20 students or less, and feature demonstration style along with tips and tricks from the professional chef. After the class, the students sit down to enjoy the evening's creations.

*Please let us know if you have any allergies, classes are not recommended for a vegetarian diet unless otherwise stated. This is not a nut-free environment.*

Kids in the Kitchen: Saturday Mar. 30 from 10 -11:30 a.m. FULL**

Pasta Pasta Pasta: Wednesday, Apr. 3 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Register FEE $50

Hands on cooking class where guests will make pasta, from scratch and sauce. Sit down together and enjoy your dinner. Recipes will be provided so no note taking is required.


Pysanka - Easter Egg Workshop: Saturday, Apr. 6 from 10 a.m. - noon. FULL**

Learn how to make beautiful pysanky: Easter eggs in the traditional Ukrainian style. Wow your friends with your skills and beautiful creations. Experienced instructors will guide you through all the steps of transforming a plain egg into a work of art.

Our workshops are inclusive, perfect for beginners, great for tactile learners, meditative, grounding and fun for adults and children alike!

Typically workshops are between 1.5 - 3 hrs. depending on needs and audience. All supplies are included. Participants get to take home one or two pysanky - time permitting. Great for all ages 7+. Marika will have extra supplies on hand to sell.


DIY Children's Succulent Springtime Special!: Saturday, Apr. 6 from 1 - 3 p.m. Register FEE $25

Max: 36 kids (this is the maximum number of pots & succulents we will have)

After enjoying a delicious lunch at The Kitchener Market, join us for a special 2 hour workshop, perfect for those 3 years and up, to celebrate the start of Spring with a beautiful handmade succulent planter and a fun visit from the Easter Bunny!

Let Heather, from The Garden Shed Guelph, lead your children in a fun and interactive DIY where they will be able to plant their own succulent, paint their own decorative rocks and add a cute Easter or Spring popsicle stick sign! 

While those painted rocks dry, enjoy a visit with Mr. E Bunny and some yummy Easter snacks!

Registration includes:

-1 4" purple plastic pot

-choice of 1 succulent

-craft materials to paint rocks and build popsicle stick sign

-Easter bunny visit and photo op

-assortment snacks

Parent and Child Cooking Night: Wednesday, Apr. 17 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Register FEE $50

This class is geared for young people aged 12 and up, parents and young people prepare a meal together. Learn some skills and then enjoy all then enjoy all the food they make. Participants take home all the recipes. 


Children's Peek a Boo Bunny DIY Special!:Saturday, Apr. 20 from 1 - 3 p.m. Register FEE $20

After enjoying the Kitchener Market's other events, join Nailed It Nite for another special Children's Workshop!

This 2 hour workshop is perfect for those ages 3+!

Let the Nailed It Nite Creative Team lead your littles step by step on how to create an adorable DIY bunny sign.

Your little DIYer will learn how to sand, stencil and safely hammer throughout this workshop to create an adorable bunny sign, you just may want to keep up all season long!

Each sign will be aprox 12"x12" and include all the paint and materials your child will need to do this project, complete with cotton ball tail and ribbon bow!

Then, while the paint is drying, enjoy a yummy Easter snack and fun visit with Mr. E Bunny himself!

Registration includes:

-1 12"x12" pine board

-all craft materials and tools required to complete project

-Easter Bunny visit and photo op

-assortment of snacks
