For more than 150 years, Kitchener residents have come together at our Saturday farmers’ market. Visitors are able to pick up their weekly groceries or weekend meals, including meat, produce, dairy and specialty items. Many Saturdays also host live music and other family-friendly events. When is the Kitchener farmers' market open?

Our farmers' market runs from 7 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Saturdays year-round. During warmer months, a number of our vendors move outside to the covered parking lot off of Eby Street. 

Our online store is open for ordering Saturdays at 5 p.m. until Fridays at noon for pick-up on Saturday from 9 - 11 a.m. no appointment necessary.

Farmers' market vendors

At the Kitchener farmers’ market, you’ll find approximately 80 vendors selling a wide variety of foods and goods, including:

Online shopping

  • Online customers can place orders via the Kitchener Market Online Store.  

  • Users will be prompted to set up a customer profile, which only takes 2-3 minutes.  

  • The Online Store is open for ordering Saturdays at 5 p.m. until Fridays at noon for pick-up on Saturday from 9 - 11 a.m. no appointment necessary.

  • Shoppers can browse by category or browse each vendor’s profile.  

  • All vendor payments are electronic, with no payments on the day of. Vendors can offer credit/debit, PayPal or e-transfer for customers. In the case of e-transfers, all transfers must be completed before pick-up. Once payment is completed, the customer will receive an email proof of purchase. 

  • The pick-up counter is on the upper floor of the market next to the Marketplace, so that customers can avoid the lower market.  Walk in access to the upper floor can be found through the King St. Piazza entrance. For customers parking in the basement garage, Direct access to the Upper Market is through the stairs or elevators.  

  • Customers must bring their proof of purchase to provide to Market pick-up staff. This can be printed or displayed on their phone.

In addition to our farmers' market vendors, our Food Hall is home to ten vendors representing cuisines from around the world. Stop by for a tasty meal or freshly brewed cup of coffee.

Winter is here! We still have plenty of delicious Ontario produce available including apples, pears, cabbage, carrots and more. The Kitchener Market vendors have everything you need to make that hearty winter stew, warming chilli or holiday meal.

Artisan vendors

Each Saturday, the upper level of the Kitchener Market hosts local artisan vendors. Stop by their tables to find something unique and handcrafted. Below, you can find a sample of what our vendors offer:
